Apna Match Live · Last updated September 24, 2026
About this policy
Apna Match Live ("the app") lets anyone follow local cricket matches and lets registered scorers record matches ball by ball. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and how you can delete it.
Viewers (no account)
You can follow matches without an account. The app stores your selected city and your Viewer/Scorer choice on your device only.
Scorer accounts
If you create a scorer account we collect your name, email address and password. Passwords are never stored in plain text — only a salted hash. Your email is used to sign you in and to send password-reset codes you request.
Match data you enter
Scorers enter match details (name, venue, city, date), team and player names, optional player photos, and ball-by-ball scoring. This match data is shown publicly to everyone using the app. Only enter names and photos you have permission to publish.
Photos
A player photo is only added when you choose one with the system photo picker or take one with your camera. The app does not read the rest of your photo library. Photos are resized on your device before upload.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows ads using Google AdMob. Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, general device information and ad interactions to serve and measure ads. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland you are asked for consent first, and you can change your choice at any time from Settings → Privacy choices. See Google's policy at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
App configuration (Firebase)
The app uses Google Firebase Remote Config to turn features such as ads on or off without an update. Firebase receives a Firebase installation ID and basic app/device information for this purpose.
What we do not collect
No precise location, contacts, messages, call logs, analytics tracking or crash-reporting SDKs. We do not sell personal data.
Storage and security
Data is sent over encrypted HTTPS/WSS connections and stored on our hosting provider (Cloudflare). Match scoring can be queued on your device while offline and is uploaded when you reconnect.
Deleting your account and data
Signed-in scorers can delete their account in the app: Settings → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, every match you created, and the teams, players, photos and scoring data in those matches. You can also delete your account on the web at /delete-account or by emailing zahidraza993@gmail.com; email requests are completed within 30 days.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes and contact
We will update this page when our practices change. Questions: zahidraza993@gmail.com.
